Are WELL therapists qualified and trustworthy?
Yes. All of our therapists are licensed healthcare professionals who are registered with—and regulated by—their respective provincial colleges, ensuring they meet strict professional and ethical standards.
What is secure messaging therapy?
Secure Messaging Therapy allows you to contact your therapist when you need them. You'll be able to securely communicate with your therapist whenever you choose and you'll receive one response from your therapist each weekday. Many of our clients find it helpful to combine phone and/or video therapy sessions with Secure Messaging Therapy. It's easy to book phone or video sessions with your chosen therapist using our booking page. Get started today from only $35/week billed monthly recurring. Insurance receipts are available upon request.
What is video therapy?
Video therapy comes closest to a traditional in-person therapy experience and it has been proven to be as effective as in-person therapy. All you need is a computer or mobile device with a webcam. Sessions are one hour on our secure platform.
What is phone therapy?
Phone therapy is like video therapy but without the webcam. Connect with your therapist on any phone, mobile device or computer with VoIP (i.e. Skype).
How do I get reimbursed for WELL Mental Health & Wellness counselling?
You'll receive a receipt that includes the necessary details to submit to your benefits provider for reimbursement. Most benefits plans include coverage for therapy provided by social workers, psychotherapists and counsellors. Please confirm your coverage with your group benefits administrator before booking a session.
What issues does WELL Mental Health & Wellness provide support for?
Our therapists provide support for a broad range of mental health issues. Depression, anxiety, trauma, substance abuse and many more.
How old do I have to be to use your services?
Clients must be at least 18 years of age or age of majority in your province or territory.
How does in-person therapy work?
We provide in-person therapy at select WELL Clinics across Canada. Our licensed in-person therapists can support a wide range of mental health conditions and are available for follow-up sessions both in-person and online after your initial session.
